Dads Arms

They like to eat in the kitchen while I clean, so they modified their stools to sit and as a table. These two goofballs have the whole world figured out according to Hazel (she is older, so she knows), Amanda my friend says Chance drives her crazy with all of his incessant questions. It scares me that they don't ask questions- they think they've got it all figured out, Why ask a grown- up? What do they know?
I heard this conversation a few days ago.
Hazel and CC are sitting down eating lunch and discussing their usual mindless fluff.
Hazel: What if Dads arms were super long, so long that he could reach us up to outer, outer space... wouldn't that be cool?
CC: Uh-huh.

  1. oh, these girls are just adorable!

  2. Ha ha. Don't be thankful! I need earplugs some times. love the pictures of all the kiddos. And we had funlaying games the other night...we should do it again sometime!

  3. That girl seems fixated on the skies. I remember the short period of time when Hazel sometimes sat on my lap during sacrament meeting. We always looked at the moon app on my iPod, and I taught her how she could, with the swipe of her magical finger, make the moon wax and wane. Now she wants to peep through our telescope, never mind that it's freezing outside. I wish somebody did have arms long enough to hold her up there for a good look around, but also hands strong enough to keep a grip on her and not let her get away. We'd want her to come back to earth. Couldn't do without her!

  4. P.S. I love love that photo. Both of those girls make me smile.
