Meagerly Accomplished

Last year about this time, we went to Disneyland, we wanted the girls to have an experience before we became housebound with the new babies. After that, I was pretty much good for nothing, just sitting, reading stories and doing school. I was never put on bed rest, but it got a little uncomfortable for me to get around with 3 babies inside.

One thing I never knew was how to french braid, I vowed to learn it.This hairdo is good for at least 2 days before it looks ragged, and bonus: the babies can't attack it. Alright all you expert braiders out there, I know it isn't perfect, but it is good enough and next time, you try getting these squirmy kids to hold still!
So, looking back on 2011 here is my follow-up: Have healthy babies and learn to french braid. Done and Done. Hmmm, seems a little meager, but at the time I was only making it day by day, wait a second I still am, but I am WAY more comfortable. Now I need to get to going on next years goals.

My Life Just Got A Little Easier

I just figured out how to collapse the triplet stroller and put it into the trunk of the limo. Look in there, there is room for a few more strollers and Christmas. Let's go!!

New Years 2011

Just putting a plug in for our city's New Years Party at the mall. Pay to get in, free face painting and balloon art, make-your own pixiestix, games, photo booth (with 2011props)
and free agony when your balloon art pops (don't chew on it...oh the bitter cup one must sometimes drink) Dads can't fix everything, sorry

Why didn't I get a rainbow to wear to Karen and Jaime's afterparty?

Fun with mom and dad, too bad we didn't do karaoke, next year N8, I am looking forward to your Neil Diamond version of  September Morn.

Free rock climbing for brave lil' girls. It was so fun to take the girls somewhere safe and kid oriented, we all had fun, as opposed to the kids had fun and we didn't or vice versa which sometimes happens...

Transportation

The best and safest way I have found for small children to transport their siblings, unfortunately not the most dignified.

As These Scenes Unfold

Look at these lovely little girls. Quinn is a great little mix of Hazel and CC with her dark hair and chubby cheeks
Ouch! We have all lost more hair than we are willing to admit, by the fistfuls. Hazel and CC have been instructed to pull their hair out out of chubby harms way while saying, "Soft baby, soft baby." Then show stroking soft hands, but we are all losing our calm, James learned to crawl by using my hair as the "carrot on a stick" while I lay on the floor
Hazel prayed that the babies would stop pulling mommys' hair. We have all taken to wearing ponytails and braids everyday, these babies are notoriously gleeful hair-pullers. We should leave a basket of ponytail holders at the door for visitors, for your own protection!

Quinn can go everywhere, even to attack the trainset that rides around the Christmas tree, TTMTB. (Totally Too Much Temptation for Baby)

James making his first escape from the bedroom

A little scared then...

A little proud, first the bedroom, then the world! Yay Jamie! Two Murray units fully mobilized, stay tuned for the ultimate mobilization of my small army. In the summer, I will begin the aquatics division of my amphibious assault, soon I will conquer the world! (maniacal laughter) That really just means we have a swim pass...
